Wat ga je doen als Senior Fullstack Developer?

As a senior developer you’ll not only work on making Independer.nl better, faster and more responsive, but you also mentor the more junior colleagues. Because a good example sets the tone. You’ll be part of 1 of the 9 (international) scrum teams. Multidisciplinary teams consisting of developers (front- and backend), testers, designers and product owners. Together you will tackle several major key projects of 2022 and our migration to the cloud.

You can count on working with tools and techniques like C#, .NET Framework 4.7.2, .NET Core 3.1, 5.0, 6.0, Angular 13, TypeScript (JavaScript), Nx and SASS. And with our migration to the cloud we're focusing on Azure, App Services en YAML pipelines.

Specifically:

• You aim for a valuable contribution to the website, strategy and CI/CD "pipeline" – of course you go for error-free software, but you also look beyond individual results and go for the team results.
• You have a strong (technological) vision – You introduce innovations and implement team-overarching solutions to complex problems. You like to make the bigger technology decisions, focus on proper implementation of CI/CD and actively engage in optimal release planning.
• You like to be a mentor – You positively influence other team members by investing time and energy in their development and personal growth. Feedback and active participation in scrum sessions is a key component.
• You actively commit to good communication and effectiveness – You treat all team members equally, including the PO. You work fully autonomously but in close collaboration with your own teams and others. You hold others accountable to Agile values and are committed to the quality standard.
• You believe in a strong T-shaped profile – of course you feel completely at home in the entire development cycle, but you also like to follow your passion to grow in one or more areas of expertise. You actively look in the market for trends and inform the Product Owner and/or team members about new value-adding technologies.
